HGO's Seeking the Human Spirit initiative explored spiritual themes in opera—Sacrifice, Transformation, Identity, Faith, Character, and Spirit—over six seasons. The initiative closed this spring with Music and Meditations, featuring six world-premiere vocal chamber pieces, at The Rothko Chapel and The Menil Collection.
