At Hot Bread Kitchen, our culinary training programs give members hands-on training that covers basic culinary and pastry techniques, food safety, and other kitchen fundamentals. For example, making pizza incorporates techniques taught training such as making + shaping the dough, grilling, and different cooking techniques for the toppings. We’ve teamed up with a several community partners across the boroughs to meet breadwinners where they are by bringing our programs to different neighborhoods. Big thank you to Cypress Hills Local Development Corporation for hosting this cohort in their beautiful new space! CHLDC serves residents from the neighborhoods of East New York, Cypress Hills, City Line, Starrett City and Spring Creek.
