- The Cliff Bay Hotel is located in Madeira, a stunning Portuguese island off the coast of Africa. One of our favorite places we’ve ever been. Their restaurant has 2 michelin stars, so book dinner reservations early!
- Oryza Guest House is in Coimbra, a historic university town in between Lisbon and Porto. This place was so quiet and lovely, and the service was wonderful.
- Vila Foz Hotel & Spa is probably the hotel we recommend most to people visiting Portugal. It’s located just outside Porto, which is ideal imo because hotels inside the city center can be pretty noisy at night. They offer bikes you can ride around the boardwalk and the park, and their restaurant was recently awarded a Michelin star too.

📍Exuma, Bahamas - of all the excursions we did in the caribbean this was one of my favorites for sure!
They have these islands where they keep pigs. You take a boat out to where they are and you feed them carrots. I definitely got a welt on my leg from being kicked by a pig but it was WORTH IT.
The water was some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen, we took a little hike, and then found a different island being run by giant iguanas and we fed them grapes and i love them.

We are full-time travel bloggers so we have gotten extra practice at optimizing our packing situation.
Not only is it less expensive to fly with fewer bags, but lugging baggage around airports, resorts, heaven forbid up and down steep cobblestone streets in Europe - it sucks. Packing lighter will save you stress in repacking too, and you’ll be less likely to leave something behind.

Cork is a surprising one, and you’ll find plenty of it in popular areas like Lisbon, Sintra, and Porto. To learn more about this, we also recommend the Cork Museum at the World of Wine in Porto.

2 years ago, we moved from Austin Texas to Lisbon Portugal to become full-time travel bloggers.
The last 6 months we have focused mainly on our Ultimate Caribbean Honeymoon Tour, checking out as many islands and all-inclusive resorts we possible.
We also went on a european christmas market river cruise which was honestly incredible.
Its been a whirlwind and we feel so lucky to be able to do this! We love helping people plan their next great vacation, ans getting to share our adventures along the way.

📍 Quinta da Roêda, Pinhão, Portugal
This winery is stunninggggg in spring. You can take a day trip from Porto, or spend the night at one of the nearby hotels. For this trip, we took a tour bus from Porto, stayed the night at a nearby hotel, and then took the train back to Porto the next day. This was so we could spend a little more time in the area than just a day trip would allow.
The blooms are unreal and the food and drinks were so good! 10/10 recommend.

I don’t know how this became a thing but it sure is gross! This tourist attraction is tucked just beneath Pike Place Market in Seattle Washington and has been there for 30 years now.
It was cleaned off completely in 2015 because the sugar from the gum was erroding the historic building. But, as you can see, it’s back in full force. And since most gum these days is sugarless, apparently its not as bad for the building. 🤷♀️ Gross, y’all.
