Thinking about my fav place in the world today!! These clips are all from the honey gentry archives lol, from our second visit (2018) to a place that has inspired me so much… every time my feet hit the ground in California I instantly feel like i’ve returned home to myself. England is where my physical form lives but California is where my spirit lives (spirits don’t need paperwork lol). If i say “home” in a lyric u can bet i was dreaming of CA. Anyway as I think about my new music out today it has me reminded of all the dreams that were formed on those beaches and in those forests and just how many of them have come true or have started to… magic.
A lovely week in Andalusia to make the release day even more special! I can’t lie, I still get a little nervous sharing new music - I am sure anyone who shares art or writing or any other vulnerabilities from the heart will understand. all the decisions about this release were made w the help of my heart and the stars. Hasn’t failed me thus far! But not sure how that translates in business terms lol. When I didn’t know a good time to put the EP out who else did I turn to but my astrologer Marilena - and it was my dad that suggested Under Taurus should be the first single when I couldn’t decide. So that’s how decisions are made here at Honey Gentry HQ. My main hope for this EP when it comes out on the 23rd is the same as always - that it reaches the people whose hearts it’s meant to reach! Whether that’s 1 person or 1000. Seriously - Cliche but it’s as true now as it was when Moonlight was coming out 5 years ago 🤍🦢🕊
