Why I regret homeschooling every single day:
1️⃣ Too much time researching. There is ALWAYS something too research! We spend so much time researching, dissecting, and find new cool things to learn about. It doesn’t even feel like ‘homeschool’.
2️⃣ Too much time exploring. So many new adventures to go on and do that lights us up.
3️⃣ Too much to discover. Always learning something new and figuring something out. Sooo many lightbulb and ah-ha moments that happen.
4️⃣ Too many opportunities to catch midday activities, like an afternoon movie matinee without the crowd of people cramping my invisible bubble.
5️⃣ Lines are too short - things happen with virtually no wait time during the day.
Of course, there are so many more things I can put here. But I think the NUMBER 1 reason would be getting a FRONT ROW SEAT to it all. Not missing a single moment of those lightbulb instances. I’d rather it be too bright than be completely in the dark.

You know your kids. It’s not ONE SIZE FITS ALL. If it takes longer to do something - or if you want to spend more time on a project - do it. Don’t let thinking you’re behind stop you - or your kid from learning. You’re not behind.
