🇺🇸The lessons of the 20th century were not easy ones. We witnessed how simple it can be to whittle away the rights and liberties of certain groups of humans. It is not only in the interest of our common humanity, to defend one another from tyranny, it is also in our own self-interest.
It takes solidarity and generosity of spirit, to build a society in which anyone can feel safe. Empathy can be hard to find, especially for people who look or sound different - or believe different things than you or I.
I think it's important to identify when we allow ourselves to be pitted against each other, and to be ruled by the meaner emotions, we ultimately dig our own graves alongside those of the people we abandon or ignore. It's only when we understand our essential commonality that we can protect ourselves, not as individual humans, but as members of an indivisible whole.

2 Simple Truths of Entrepreneurship no one talks about...
1️⃣ Everyone knows that being an entrepreneur is not easy.
But, everyone thinks of becoming one with their “One in a million” idea. Everyone thinks that “this is something no one has ever done”. Everyone has a unique business idea, but there are very, very few people who really give it a try. It doesn’t matter that they achieve success or not, I have learned it's less important to be a person of "success" and more important to be a person of "work" 💯
2️⃣ Alienation, Anxiety, Depression.
This is one of the most brutal truths about entrepreneurship. You will face much of some or all of these to varying extents (depending on the person). You give up the 9 to 5 for the 24/7, which inevitably leads you to lose time spent with friends and family. It can be very alienating at times as your top priority will be only on your startup/project. So, you will need to find proper ways to have a work life balance to ensure you don't slip into prolonged states of alienation/anxiety/depression. Create, exercise, go outside, play or do anything you like - just DO SOMETHING. Trust me, you'll smile more.
For me? I try to put "good will" out. Not because of karma, but because helping sometimes is the only thing that can feel positive when you're operating on the edge of an abyss. Helping others on their entrepreneur journey, this is a currency that really works to recharge. Whatever your outlet is, no matter what you face, JUST KEEP MOVING FORWARD.
