I did a big ol clean and organize today in my studio at the shop, with allocated stations for the varying goods I make in here. I love love love having the studio and shop combined, and now that it is I get to share what I’m up to with people in a new way. It’s been such a good homecoming, focusing more on doing what brings me joy. I do my best when I know where everything lives, can access supplies I need easily and get into a good flow. When I had my studio at home I’d have to make trips between to grab a tool I left there, lug finished goods to the shop, and then try to keep space and time for living. Everything has a home now and it feels GOOD! Can’t wait to share all the fresh goods I’ve had in the works, just in time for the holiday season and beyond. Love to see it! 💖 So many #madeincanada tags on our vintage pieces in the shop. You don’t see that much with fast fashion brands these days, but it’s something that we at Hideout value. While not every piece we have is made in Canada, we tend to focus a lot on featuring curated quality vintage garments that already exist, have for some time, and can continue to be worn in style.
