Happy December. How are you gonna spend this last month of the year?

Even in southern California, we started to feel the energy of winter. Like this Calla Lily painting.
.
This quiet calla lily painting reminds me of the energy of the winter: solitude, peace, contemplation, and transformation. I have been taking time to slow down and reflect on both my personal and business journey.
Embracing my inner winter.

We are Cyclical Nature Collection honors the four seasons, the wheel of the year, the moon phases, and the cyclical nature in all of us.
.
When I surrender to the divine, synchronicity happens. I’ve been painting this collection and I haven’t planned any names/ideas for it. I just let it flow and see what comes up on the canvas. Most of the paintings are done bare feet in Central Park at Huntington Beach. I just felt a strong connection with Mother Earth and nature’s spirit.

Turning 40 today. I gifted myself a trip to Italy, Florence to be exact, the artsy city who took my heart 9 years ago when I first visited. All forms of art are alive here!

To put the cherry on the top I joined the Created with Nature retreat hosted by @emily_jeffords and @tanya.val at the beautiful @meadowsweetretreat in Tuscany with beautiful souls who love nature and creating beauty. It ignites my soul to create more beauty in the world.

A friend asked me when I returned: what’s the difference between this visit VS. 9 years ago? I told her: I am different. 9 years ago I was in my Ph.D program feeling lost. Now I have found and lived my #soulpurpose and committed to a #spiritguided life.
