I have been wanting to make this reel for awhile. This is a great example of what the difference between LIVE vs STUDIO portraits look like! Notice how much more details are on the “studio” version. I am able to REST, SLOW DOWN, use my TINY brushes, sit REALLY close to the easel! These kind of details take a lot more time! While I am at the weddings I am distracted by all the fun music, lights, guest asking questions, and it is hard to get this level of detail live. So I take all my painting back to the studio for the final touch! OMG! I am sooo excited to start offering this NEW addition to LIVE Wedding Painting! I came up with a fun idea of not only letting the couple make a forever brush mark on the canvas, but to PRESERVE THE BRUSH TOO!! From now on, after the couple makes their mark on the canvas, I will let the paint dry out on the brush. I will attach the brushes to the backside of the stretcher frames to the couple can have a time capsule of their wedding day! I started this just a few weeks ago and will continue doing this for other future weddings!! Y’ALL… this party was AMAZING! This was a 17th anniversary for @ashleylynngrindstaff and her husband. They wanted to have a disco themed party based on Studio54. They had custom logos printed on an ice sculpture and a custom cake that rotated like a disco ball. The guest had the most amazing spread of food from lobster, caviar with delicious cocktails and drinks.
