I've been playing around with my waffle iron, getting ready to do a TV segment next week. I won't be sharing this one on the show, but it still turned out perfect!!'
Make your egg sandwich, including the egg in a waffle iron. Less mess, portable, and delicious.
𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬
Cooking spray
1 large egg
2 slices Dave's Killer Bread, thin sliced (the 60 calorie one)
1/2 ounce cheddar cheese (thin sliced cheese)
𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
Spray a heated waffle iron with cooking spray.
Crack one egg onto one corner of your waffle iron. Close the lid and cook for 1-2 minutes., or until your indicator light goes on.
Remove the egg from the waffle iron and replace that spot with one slice of bread. Top the bread with the thin sliced cheese, egg, and top it with one more slice of bread. Close the lid to cook the bread and melt the cheese.
Remove from waffle iron and enjoy!

Human behavior has shown us that if you have a choice between a slimmer you in the future or a cookie today, most of us will choose the immediate pleasure of a cookie today.

This was breakfast today! The last few days instead of scrambled eggs, I've been adding 1/4 cup egg whites to my oatmeal for the protein. SO TASTY!
If you haven't added egg whites to your oatmeal yet, it's great because it gives you more volume and protein, with barely any extra calories.
The full method I've been using:
In a HUGE bowl to prevent overflowing, I combined:
➡️ 1/2 cup quick oats
➡️ 1 1/4 cup water.
Yes, this is double the water for normally cooking oats. But, if you cook the oatmeal long enough, the liquid will all absorb and give you MORE FOOD!
I cook first for 1 minute in the microwave. Stir it. Then cook for 1 more minute, stirring after 30 seconds.
After a full two minutes of cooking in the microwave, I pour in
➡️1/4 cup liquid egg whites
Then, I return to the microwave for another 30 seconds.
After this was cooked, I added:
➡️1/4 cup pumpkin puree.
➡️1 tsp pumpkin spice
➡️ 2 tablespoons whipped cream
➡️ 2 packets sugar free sweetener
and
➡️1 crumbled Kodiak chocolate graham crackers. LOL.. I don't know why, it just sounded good!
Anyway, give the egg white thing a try. You won't regret it!

Every summer, when garden tomatoes are ripe and avocados don't cost a million dollars , we make this salsa. All my kids are huge fans. They eat it with chips or straight with a spoon!
But, to create a low cal swap for the chips, this week I sliced up a low carb tortilla, sprayed with cooking spray and sprinkled with salt. Then baked for a few minutes till crispy! It was so good! I'm already not a fan of corn chips, but I'm addicted to flour tortillas, so this was perfect for dipping!
Ingredients
🍅1 medium tomato, chopped
🥑50 g chopped avocado, chopped
👀1/2 cup black eyed peas, drained
♥️2 tablespoons fat free zesty italian dressing
Stir altogether in a bowl and eat. Store in the fridge.

I was trying a new low cal tortilla today. But it was another one of those that posts in it's nutrition label that it has 45 calories, but 15 g carbs, 4 g protein, and 1.5 g fat. So, it Really should be 90 calories. But it has 12 g of fiber. So even at 90 calories, I think it's a solid choice!!
So, this quesadilla had:
1 Don Pancho carb control wrap
3 ounces chicken
1 ounce fat free cheddar cheese
1 ounce mozzarella cheese
And a few sliced mushrooms.

1 cup self rising flour
2/3 cup nonfat plain greek yogurt
1 tablespoon zero calorie sweetener (erythritol)
2 teaspoons poppyseeds
2 teaspoons lemon juice
𝑫𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔
Combine all ingredients. You'll need to use your hand to knead it till it makes a dough. A spoon alone won't mix it properly.
Portion out 20 equal balls (about 15 grams each).
Cook in the air fryer at 400 degrees for about 4 minutes, or until donut holes begin to brown. (you can also use the oven at 400 degrees,
Remove from the air fryer.
Blend erythritol in a blender to make powdered sugar. Combine powdered sugar with a splash of milk to make a glaze.
Dunk each donut hole in the glaze. Sprinkle it with extra poppy seeds and lemon zest. EAT!!!

You guys!! 3 Layers of Protein dessert, all in one!
Using a 6 inch springform pan, I made:
🍫1 Brownie layer:🍫
✔️For this I used one recipe for "ridiculous brownies" pinned to the top of @lowcalrecipes98 Instagram page.
After mixing, I poured into the bottom of a 6 inch springform pan and put it in the freezer till solid.
🍓The next morning, I made my protein strawberry layer: 🍓
✔️1 scoop CSE strawberry protein powder
✔️1 cup frozen strawberries
✔️1 cup vanilla unsweetened almond milk
Blend the strawberry protein layer in a blender until smooth and pour over the frozen brownie in the spring form pan.
🍦A few hours later, I made the Vanilla layer🍦
✔️1 scoop vanilla protein powder
✔️1 frozen banana
✔️1 cup vanilla unsweetened almond milk
Blend in a high powdered blender, and pour over the frozen strawberry layer.
Freeze one last time until solid. When ready to remove from pan, set out on counter for about 10 minutes. Release the clasp on the spring form pan and remove the layered protein ice cream cake.
Cut into 6 slices and enjoy!
