This *might* be the best antiquing find of all time!! While we pride ourselves in our treasure hunting ability, it was actually our Mom who spotted this beauty, and we immediately fell in love! We absolutely love italian antiques, and anything gold/baroque, and this headboard falls under all of those categories!
Our local antique shops carry some true treasures (like all of the mirrors on my mirror wall!,) so we are incredibly lucky to be able peruse through such beauty, and think about the previous people who owned and created these treasures!

SOS WE NEED OUR SEWING BESTIES HELP!! We just got this new ruffler foot from @Singer Sewing , and the first fabric we put through is this super lightweight polyester that ruffled beautifully, then we tried with the second piece of the same fabric, and it wont ruffle! We tried adjusting the stitch number, and tried adding tissue paper underneath, but nothing has helped! Switching fabrics has been the only thing that helped, but we need it to work with the original fabric!
If anyone has any insight to what the problem is, please comment below!! We are still new to sewing and have no idea what to do here!
