Abbey has been working hard in the studio the last couple months on her new song, called “Categories” all about the way her mind works. Abbey thinks in memories and associates them with feeling words. Instead of saying “I’m scared or mad” she will tell an old memory. She works on expressive language everyday and this song is a just a glimpse into her head and how it works- those memories are then put into categories associating good things with good things and bad things with bad things. She wrote the song with help from her mom and bff, Casey Kelly. Also the help of her singing coach Bob Garret and producer Garth Herberg. Abbey is so excited for everyone to hear it in November! Abbey loved sharing her story at Erin’s Hope fundraiser in Georgia over the weekend. Erin’s Hope for Friends is a charity that helps adults with autism make friends and be part of a community. It was created in memory of Erin who had autism and struggled socially. Look at the name of this charity and remember to be kind. Abbey is so excited to go to the Roar and Snore at the @San Diego zoo with @David celebrate their 2 years anniversary! They’ve been talking about this for so long and now it’s finally here. They’re going on a double date with Abbey’s cousin Mary and her boyfriend Zach! Abbey and David will roast s’mores at night and listen to the hyenas and lions roar in the middle of the night.
