There are 252,000 people in our region at risk of #hunger , yet our #foodpantry partners only serve 226,000 people each month. Our goal is to reach every household that is struggling to put #food on the table, which is even more of a reason to help us give voice during #HungerActionMonth . Take it from Dave, one of our ambassadors who has been doing it for more than a decade.
80,000 pounds of food are off to @SecondHarvestBB in Tallahassee in the wake of Hurricane Idalia. The emergency food boxes include shelf-stable items like beans, protein, peanut butter and jelly, and fruits and vegetables to help families recover from the Category 3 hurricane as comfortably as possible.

We’ve got a new rollstock machine in our certified #CleanRoom that will help us repack and vacuum seal bulk #donations into smaller, family-size portions! It can do items like #corn , cereal or even uncooked meat. (Shout-out to our staff and #volunteers for taking on this new and exciting responsibility!)
Thanks to the most wonderful #community and supporters, we raised nearly HALF A MILLION dollars to continue creating equitable access to food and address the root causes and impact of #hunger !
