NEW Tricky Words Flashcards being tested out with our 'Tricky Word Slam' 👋
One of our activities from our new Tricky Word - Reception & Year 1 pack. Billy loved our ‘Speedy Numbers’ activity so we took some tricky words that he’s been practising and made it into a similar challenge. How quickly could he tap all the tricky words to get to the buzzer?
This is a great game for active kids that love a challenge and offers a real sense of a achievement. It’s short enough to prevent distraction but long enough to build up resilience. Whilst we learn new words we’re still reinforcing the learnt words. This is a great game to play, mix it up and keep adding new words too. What’s more, Lara wanted to do Speedy Numbers straight after seeing Billy do this activity!
