One year ago we asked for the end of TotalEnergies’ sponsoring of the 20km of Brussels.
4000 people supported our demand towards the 20km directors, but nothing changed.
Climate killers should not be allowed to advertise and sponsor anymore.

Last saturday, 22 Greenpeace activists entered the gas terminal of Fluxys in Zeebrugge in Belgium.
14 of them were arrested during the action and put in jail for 48 hours ‼️
Our civil disobedience actions are always non-violent and cause no harm ! They are a legitimate way to be oppose to practices that threaten us all ✊🏻
After two nights in prison, they are the subject of a summons to appear on June 7.
We are facing criminalization of climate activists, a violation of freedom of expression !
This intimidation will not work, we will not let it happen ✊🏻

For more than 24 hours, 1000 activists peacefully but determinedly blocked infrastructure of climate criminal TotalEnergies in Feluy and Wandre (Liège). The fierce resistance only showed that we need social and climate justice more than ever.
We are one step closer to the exit of fossil fuels but are still far from a sustainable and fair society.
A first succesful action and definitely not the last!
