Right now, the weather in Gothenburg is all rain and wind. ☔️ If you're in town and are looking for something to do out of the rain (mostly), come for a guided tour on board. In addition to the ship, our historical exhibition and workshop are also open. We open att 11 am, and last guided tour is at 4 pm. Tours in English are at 12pm and 15pm. Shouldn’t an expedition like ours visit France? Of course! We saved our French stop for the Mediterranean, leaving Malaga 20 September with all sails set for the French Riviera. Fifteen years ago, Götheborg visited Nice for the first time, on the way back from Asia.

Gun salute upon arrival in Gibraltar on Thursday. Eight shots from the ship, which were answered with eleven shots from British Forces Gibraltar. Firing the ship’s cannons upon arrival in port is a traditional way to demonstrate friendly intentions. It shows that the cannons are empty and don’t pose a threat.
