Who doesn’t love a meal that’s just as cozy as it is easy? 🤗 #ad

This comforting, nutritious dinner goes to show you that healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive🙌🏼.

I just sautéed the green beans with diced yellow onion, garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, & a bit of lemon juice. Throw in some slivered almonds for a little crunch as well if you like!

For the pasta, you’ll cook the Good & Gather organic spaghetti according to package directions & add to a sauce pan with tomato, basil, & garlic sauce until warmed. Top with fresh basil & grated parmesan cheese for a little extra something something🍝.

Mindful eating focuses on your eating experiences, body-related sensations, thoughts & feelings about food, with heightened awareness & without judgment. Attention is paid to the foods being chosen, internal & external physical cues, & your responses to those cues.

Research shows that mindful eating can lead to greater psychological wellbeing, increased pleasure when eating, & body satisfaction. Likewise, the reduction in stress mindful eating creates likewise improves digestive capacity🙌🏼.


1️⃣ HEIGHTEN YOUR SENSES - When you tap into how your food looks, smells, feels & tastes, you’re forced to be in the present moment as you experience it. This allows you to tap into hunger and fullness cues more effectively, manage cravings, & feel more fueled & fulfilled by your meals.

2️⃣ SLOW DOWN & CHEW - It’s easy to get into the habit of gobbling down each bite, so here’s your reminder to simply chew your food more efficiently. Savor each bite & slow down to enjoy the experience of the food you’re eating. Digestion begins here, so you’ll see improvements in this department as well.

3️⃣ CONSIDER YOUR MEAL “HOLISTICALLY” - In addition to the physical aspects of mindful eating, here are some other factors to consider to become a more mindful eater:

- Where the food came from, where it was prepared, & who prepared it
- Internal & external factors that impact your food decisions & quantity of food you eat
- How you feel before & after eating
