This little sweetie is Bobby. He was an owner surrender and has been at East Valley animal shelter since July patiently waiting for a home. He’s so sweet and loving with people. He will need to be in a home with no other dogs. He’s currently kenneled outdoors and because the shelter is so packed, he happens to be in a kennel that is in an area that doesn’t really get much foot traffic from visitors. It’s getting cold in Los Angeles at night and an outdoor cement kennel is no place for a sweet 10 year old senior. Please share so we can find Bobby a home for the holidays! #A2091853

My friends at East Valley Animal shelter would really like a home. There are so many dogs at the shelter that they only get out of their kennels once a week if they are lucky. Volunteering is so rewarding and it means the world to these dogs to get out and get some playtime in the yard. If you have room in your home to adopt or foster a dog, now is the time. Here’s just a snapshot of some of the WONDERFUL dogs there waiting for forever homes.
Elsa - cute and playful. Loves her zoomies.
Tiny - gorgeous and loyal. Dog selective but has been friendly and playful with dogs along the fence.
Gurtrude- wants out bad. She’s getting kennel stressed due to being locked up all day. She’s playful and sweet.
Ruth - sweet and shy. Once she is out of the shelter I think she will just blossom. She’s such a doll.
Rocky - super senior. Sight impaired. Really needs out of the shelter and a comfortable place to live out his golden years.
Chonks- 100 lb large boy. Happy and very friendly. Must be an only dog. Loves to play. He has some vision impairment and for that reason should not be placed in a home with children.

This is Eve. She’s a petite and super sweet husky. She’s having a hard time at the shelter because she’s super scared and shy. She hides mostly in her kennel. She needs a gentle and patient person but I believe once she feels safe, she will blossom into a wonderful, playful, loving dog. She’s 1.5 years old and weighs 38 lbs. She’s located at East Valley Animal Shelter in Van Nuys, CA. Such a sweet girl. Unfortunately with so many huskies in the shelter, it’s hard for the shy ones to be seen. This girl is a gem. ❤️
