Nearly a year ago now, a student from President Ono's previous university warned us of a proclivity to capitulate to the will of wealthy donors rather than look out for the needs of students and workers, particularly the most vulnerable. GEO and HOA are both grappling today with an unsympathetic administration toward the needs of less experienced labor groups. Graduate workers are struggling to find champions in this administration for any marginalized group, who will join us in pursuing real transformative action at the university. In the end, they have a lot of words about "-isms", but no willingness to do anything. -if you can only currently afford part-time care
