How often do you read your Bible? Maybe success looks a little different to God than it does to us. But our preparation is filling ourselves with the Word of God and going to Him in prayer so that He can use us to reach the lost.

Why are we so willing to let these things divide us?
Jesus will always find His lost sheep. This is a perfect example of His people doing work in His name.

Rob Zwingman is a comic who has pretty recently received Christ as his savior and his story is a great example of how our flesh will continue to tempt us even after salvation. But God is faithful!

We need to trust God to be God. No one you try to CONVINCE into believing is going to become a true believer.

We don’t know all of the plans God has for a person’s life, and their longer journey could become their ultimate testimony.
God is working on us. The best way to understand that we're works in progress is to visualize a building that's under construction.

If you've got parts that are missing and walls that are being torn down…It’s under construction! Sometimes we look at our lives. We think, “well, I should be perfect.” And God says, No, you're under construction.
“A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still.” You can only say something so many times in so many ways.

If we want to truly be effective in witnessing to our friends and family members who don’t quite yet believe, we have to be patient, be loving, and be kind after the first attempt at sharing the gospel falls on deaf ears.

When the Holy Spirit was poured out in the upper room and He sat upon the people and the tongues of fire hit them, they began to speak in other tongues, what was that all about?

So they could start a church?
So they could start a movement?
So they could start a ministry?

No! So they could be empowered to preach the gospel to the lost!
If we're still trying to approach God and impress God and appease God with our resumé of good things that we do, can we please stop?

It’s a stench in the nostrils of God because it's it's a slap in the face to Jesus and the cross and forgiveness. If we're trying to impress God with our works, not only is a futile and a lost cause, but it's embarrassing.

“But now he has obtained a more excellent ministry by, as he has also the mediator talking about Jesus. He is the mediator of a better covenant. For If the first covenant had been faultless, there would not have been an occasion sought for a second covenant.”
-Hebrews 8:6-7

The old covenant is eclipsed by the New Covenant. It's a new and a better covenant built on better promises, built on grace instead of legalism and rules.
“It’s all part of my journey!” No, it is what you needed salvation from.
