I am a control freak and don’t like people telling me what to do which is a weakness. I love the flexibility of being able to make my own schedule but I can’t let that control me to not having any structure.

So, today I tried something new. I blocked out my scheduled with what needed to be done and when to give myself structure and focus. I have a clear goal of what I am doing when and feel more accomplished knowing I completed it! This doesn’t mean that I can’t change or adapt but it gives me the structure I need to maximize productivity.

By doing this I can carve out more time and prioritize things like brand development. I sat down and watched an awesome hour long seminar on brand and social media and took notes on it today. I’m no expert but growth comes through trial and error and filming videos for accountability helps.
