Established in the early 1850s, #Bayport is a tiny village with a lot of old #Florida charm. 🌴 Once a shipping port, the area became a spot for skirmishes during the Civil War; it was later used for 'rum running' in the 1920s.

🧜♀️ Mermaid 'Kaimana' of The Mermaid Tale Trail has been recovered! Once proudly overlooking the beauty of Pine Island Park, 'Kaimana' washed out to sea from the effects of Hurricane Idalia. She was rescued by a local Pine Island resident, Steve Emerson. Mr. Emerson was recovering debris from the storm around the mangroves when he happened upon her. We would like to thank Mr. Emerson for calling us so she can eventually be returned to her home on Pine Island.

This recently updated home has 180 degree views of the Gulf and surrounding marsh, with spectacular views of the sunset. The home features a downstairs bar area with a mini-fridge and ice machine.
