Servitude was not the song used originally in this video of #tyrenichols , but it seems to fit as a tribute to his passion and innocence for skateboarding and the culture as well as to his premature death at the hands of 5 police officers. We would rather honor him in video for who he was and what he loved than sharing the footage of what happened. His memory should be him at his best and not remembered for the worst of people and how it ended. There has been a lot of talk by people that don’t look at what happened, but start pointing at who did it. The who not being police, but black police. It doesn’t change the fact that there is a systematic problem in authority figures that and are supposed to serve and protect all. The story may have a new face, but the story remains the same.
