[SHORT FILM] Sneak Peek 🔔 Blog coming soon 🎬❤‍🔥 @peterkuhtz

To realize the dream of my own short film, I turned down several paid jobs as a filmmaker to take a few months just for my project.

So I rented a production hall, bought materials and built a ship's kitchen on a tilting platform to create the illusion of a real ship in a storm in the middle of the ocean.

In this ship's kitchen, a mysterious seaman cooks plastic-contaminated fish meals.

Now the short film is ready and I'm excited to share it with you guys.

With the film I want to draw attention to the worldwide plastic pollution of the oceans.

I would also like to say thank you to my film crew, without you this would not have been possible.

💡Car match-cut sequence by @Matjoez

I shot a match-cut sequence at the Goodwood Revival, one of the most exclusive motorsports events in the world.

Capture on a Lumix S5IIX using the “sheer overlay” function, I could easily line up each photo to the next one with minimal work needed in post-production.

I did finalise the edit in After Effects, which took me about 6 hours for 601 individual photos.
