Everyone pitched in to lay down fresh straw yesterday! The steers LOVE playing with bales of straw, and we get suck a kick out of watching them play. You can see here, when they’re allowed the space, and given the tools; cows play just like dogs. Why love one and eat another?

One more day ‘till our animal art auction! You know you’ve always wanted a painting made by a free and happy rescued cow; well, now is your chance to bid on one! We will be auctioning off one painting a day for a week on both Instagram and Facebook. All proceeds directly support our animal residents. Bidding will be open from 10am to 8pm each day. We can’t wait ‘till tomorrow!
