Took myself on a little trip down to the Big Smoke recently, so OBVIOUSLY I needed to check out the wine scene while I was down there. Having ordered a few bottles of vino online from Clapton Craft before, I figured it was about time I paid a visit to their actual shop to see it for myself. They’ve got a few locations across London but the Finsbury Park branch was closest to where I was staying. So, I popped in for a little visit. If you’re into your wine or beer and happen to find yourself in London town, this is a must visit. I stopped by for a glass of orange and a glass of rosĂ©, as well as a big ole browse of their incredible selection of wine and beer. Both glasses were ace (so much so that I ended up taking a bottle of the rosĂ© back to Liverpool with me). The staff are always up for a chat and will happily guide you through their sleevtion of drinks, too. Get this on your list. Whilst Belgium is known for its sensational selection of beers, sometimes you just want a nice glass of wine after a long day of sightseeing.

On my recent trip to Bruges, Belgium, I made it my mission to find at least one great wine bar. Whilst I could drink kriek beer until the end of time, I had a real hankering for a good glass of Riesling.

Luckily, I stumbled across BLEND - a stunning wine bar down the side streets of Bruges.

Such a beautiful, elegant bar with a fantastic wine selection. If you’re lucky, you might get to see a cute doggo while you’re in there too.

One of my all-time wine bars in London is Lady of the Grapes, in Covent Garden.

This cosy spot serves up incredible wines and dishes in the heart of London. The wines are of course fantastic, but what makes Lady of the Grapes extra special is its commitment to showcasing female-founded and female-fronted wineries.

Thinking about this pét-nat red that I picked up on my visit to KERB, a natural wine bar and bottle shop in the heart of Ancoats, Manchester.

The space, the vibes, and of course the wine were all an absolute triumph. Sour cherry đŸ€ sweet strawberry.
