Do you know why pigs love mud? Mud serves 2 main purposes for pigs: protecting their skin from the sun, and keeping bugs off of them! Laying in the mud can also cool them off on a hot day! Maybe we should all try their method! 🐷

We had our heirloom plant sale this weekend and it has been a huge success! 🪴☺️Thank you to everyone who came out and got their garden plants with us, and thank you to the staff that worked hard to put this together! We’re still selling until 3pm today (5/13) so there’s still time to get your plants if you haven’t yet! And if there are any plants leftover, they will be for sale this coming week.

It’s been a big day on The Farm! 😊We have 6 new Berkshire heritage breed pigs! Come out and visit them! 🐽 We are open everyday from 10am-5pm.
We had so much fun sharing about farm life in the 1920s during our Living History in the Farmhouse program! 🏠🥧🍯🧈🍞Guests even got to sample the food we cooked throughout the day! Mark your calendars because we have another program like this on August 26th! 🤩
The duck pond has opened back up and our ducks couldn’t be happier!☀️ come visit Sergio the duck and all our farm animals 🦆✨🌼 Spring is a beautiful time on the Farm!
Here is a sneak peak at the wood stove you’ll get to see if you come to our program called Living History in the Farmhouse! 🏠 We will fire up the antique wood stove and cook on the stovetop as well as bake in the oven! You’ll also have the opportunity to wash laundry with a washboard, churn butter, and more! The event is this Saturday at 1:00-2:30pm! We are really excited for it and we can’t wait to see you there! 🥧🧈🍞
