đđŒ Love the look of film, but donât want your photographer limited to rolls of physical film?

I now photograph all weddings, elopements and couples session with both my fancy mirrorless Canon R5 (top of the line, insanely fast, sharp, beautiful) AND my Fuji x100v (film looking camera that shoots to JPEG using film simulation aka grainy, imperfect, nostalgic goodness).
AKA you get the absolute best of both worlds đ„°
Film is cool. I love the look, but not only is the film + processing expensive (around $50/roll of 36 photos), it can be a little nerve racking thinking about all the points of failure!! The film can be bad, it can become overexposed if not taken out of the camera correctly, it can become damaged during processing, and who knows when itâs finally developed if it was even exposed properly â ïž not too mention all that waste!! Plastic, chemicals, no bueno â»ïž
The x100v is a digital camera that letâs you program actual stocks of film like 1960s Ilford HP5, 1990s Kodak Gold or 1940s Ektachrome so you can take photos that in camera are edited to look like these film types without all the cons that come with actually shooting on film đ€Ż
