For music videos, it’s a common thing to film at a slower tempo from the original to get some fast motion movements. Here’s us playing ”When the City Sleeps” at half tempo which is then sped back up to normal, along with the pitch going up an octave. The result is, well, quite interesting at least 👁️

“WHEN THE CITY SLEEPS” OUT NOW! After an eternity of waiting, our brand new single is finally released on all the streaming services along with a music video on YouTube. So much work went into this and we couldn’t be happier about the end result!

“The song is based on this synth melody and chorus I’ve had in my mind for years and it took some time to get all the parts to flow just right. A little over a year ago we had a pretty much finished demo and after that it was just about making the end product as good as possible. Thematically the song sets the mood for various nightly activities in the city, so it’s a perfect tune to listen to before heading out tonight!”, Juha comments.

We are extremely proud to FINALLY release our comeback single and the first song with the new line up! “When the City Sleeps” hits all the streaming platforms next week on January 20th with the accompanying music video available on YouTube.

“When the City Sleeps” is in many ways a classic Escalane banger with a groovy riff, huge chorus and catchy vocal lines. Excellent for blasting while roaming around the city streets and heading for a night out, or that’s at least what we assume and the vibe we’re going for!
