I got to attend an album release party for Desi RnB artist, @xoxosanj. This is her debut album, called Nightingale, which was the nickname her mom gave her as a child. Thanks to my friend @Dharaaab who is a phenomonal make up artist in NYC, I was able to to interview Sanj about her story and I asked some of the most important questions of our time, haha!

They met in college, got married, and years later, decided to co-found the @HAPPYMONDAYstudio agency where they’ve worked with artists like J Balvin & Billie Eilish and Bad Bunny. Alongside SANJ was this amazing violinist named @Skxnda, who just makes magic with his violin.
The event was hosted by @browngirlmag_ and I got to meet the super inspiring founder @tsakhuja_walia and a bunch of her cool team members. The event was co-sponsored by @drinkjunglee, an amazing indian inspired craft cocktail company and they had these amazing cupcakes from @farishtaflowers.
