I never imagined that I'd win such a prestigious award. However I've always been a person that works hard and I feel so blessed to see the fruit of my good works. Many people don't know much of what I've been through over the past few years and this isn't the space to dive into those details right now. However, I do want to share that I am thankful to God to still be standing here as the leader of DynamiteTravel, my 15 year old baby, who has truly stood the test of times. Thank all of you for your support and for giving me the opportunity to serve, educate, and inspire. This is certainly one of the greatest accomplishments of my life and I'll never forget this moment.

How do you survive the drake passage? I definitely recommend meds and/or a patch, but I learned how important diet is as well. I was instructed by the nurse and doctor onboard to eat very small portions. Also stay away from fried foods and any foods with a lot of grease and seasonings. Refrain from drinking alcohol and soda can also help. Last is mindset. Remember that its just temporary and think of the bigger picture and the fact that you're heading to Antarctica!! What other tips do you think would help to survive the drake passage?

The first day at sea was pretty rough crossing the Drake I had a bad headache so spent most od the day in my room, but I also spent time in the library which was really nice. The journey is almost over and I must admit I'm kind of sad! I have tons more to share so keep following along as I'll be sharing more even after the journey is done!
