This 8’x8’ flower bed was created for our customer’s pots and planters. First, we removed paver stones and sod from the area. Second, we leveled and graded. Then we sprayed with weed preventer. Lastly, we installed both playground and bark mulch. This backyard renovation project included beautifying an area surrounding raised garden beds. We removed sod around the metal planters, installed metal edging, planted one Hydrangea, and laid 2.5 tons of pea gravel around the raised beds. This project consisted of removing one tree and 6 bushes as well as trimming 3 trees. Many of the bushes were turning brown and did not appear to be in good health. During the Winter, Boxwoods can suffer Winter burn and Winter blight. While minor cases will heal themselves, extreme cases usually cause the bush to die. Due to the dry Winter we had this year, several customers have experienced this issue and requested removals and replacements for their Boxwoods.
