But I found that I also need to finish some cool projects, and since man does not live by blacksmithing alone, I decided today to finish the one started at the upholstery workshop in MDK Bogucice. 🇵🇱 Cóż to była za sobota. Siedmioro ochotników sięgneło po młotki i zobaczcie tylko jakie cuda zrobili. Ja jestem pod wrażeniem poziomu prac i była to prawdziwa przyjemność, że moglem ich poprowadzic przez meandry tego pieknego rzemiosła jakim jest repusowanie. Dziękuję @pracowani officyna za udostepnienie kreatywnej przestrzeni z wspaniałą atmosferą.
🇬🇧 What a Saturday it was. seven volunteers reached for the hammers and just look at the miracles they did. I am impressed by the level of work and it was a real pleasure that I could lead them through the meanders of this beautiful craft of repoussage. Thank you @pracowani oficyna for providing a creative space with a great atmosphere.

🇵🇱 Lucanus Cervus, największy żuk Europy i chyba najbardziej znany z rodziny jelonkowatych. Każdy widział jego zdjęcie, ale tylko niektórzy szczęśliwcy mogli go zobaczyć na żywo. Niestety jest zagrożony wyginięciem, a to mój ulubiony żuk. Dlatego postanowiłem wykorzystać moje umiejętności i piękną technikę jaką jest repusowanie, aby utrwalić jego podobiznę w metalu. Technika ta pozwoliła mi na odwzorowanie go w trochę większej skali niż występuje w naturze. Do tego bukowa, opalana deska, kute gwoździe i to co uwielbiam, czyli malowanie ogniem, nadało mu ten jedyny w swoim rodzaju wygląd.

🇬🇧 Lucanus Cervus, the largest beetle in Europe and probably the best known of the stag family. Everyone has seen his picture but only the lucky ones got to see him in the wild. Unfortunately, it is endangered, which is very sad, because it's my favorite beetle. For this reason, I decided to use my skills and the beautiful technique of repoussage to create its likeness in metal, which, thanks to its properties, allowed it to be reproduced on a slightly larger scale than it occurs in nature. In addition, a beechwood fired board, forged nails and what I love - painting with fire, gave it this one-of-a-kind look.
