I also recommend when doing your face skincare to pump products onto backs of hands and then apply to face and rub any excess into your hands. This goes for antioxidants and retinol. As a cosmetic dermatologist I wanted to share some treatments to stimulate collagen that I think are worth the money. I realize in office procedures can be $$$ and the most afforbadle things you can do are sun protection to preserve existing collagen and retinoids (as well as some other topical skincare) to stimulate collagen. However, as I’ve posted before there are linits to what skincare can do. And the data on oral collagen supplements is limited so it is not where i would invest personally though it may have benefits.

Most minor wounds don’t require antibiotics and are best cleaned with just water, mild soap and water or saline. Hydrogen peroxide and rubbing alcohol can do more harm than good and actually slow down the healing process. Once clean jist use petroleum jelly for moist wound healing. If you have a serious wound or believe it to be infected then please seek medical attention. There are prescription antibiotic options as needed but the drugstore triple antibiotic ointment is a common culprit for allergic contact dermatitis.
