Doing this exercise prior to pressing, wrecked my chest. I used cuffs instead of handles to really focus on my pecs and take the triceps out of it. The cuffs also added extra stability compared to the handles.
I also added a slight incline and placed the bench slightly forward to stretch the pec more.

The delt is not a big muscle. Therefore, you should not be lifting a lot of weight when doing it. You need to make sure you are stable because it is very easy to use other muscles when doing raises.
Make sure you have a mind-muscle connection established with your delts. A lot of people have difficulty doing this.
Also, don’t be the guy swinging the 50lb DB’s when doing lat raises because you think you’re cool.

Everyone knows that you build a tolerance to pre-workout. So, to avoid that tolerance build up, take a break from pre-workout during your deload weeks.
The goal of pre-workout is to help you perform better during your workout. So, if you’re not going as hard anyways… why do you need it?
If you perform perfectly fine in the gym with just a cup of coffee… stick to it. This is for the people out there that are used to consuming 500+mg of caffeine everyday.

Reminder!
This is something that a lot of you probably already know, but sometimes need to be reminded of. Another benefit of doing this is that you won’t want the food to go to waste, so you will eat it within a certain time frame.
So, when you’re thinking, “Chick-fil-A sounds really good for lunch.” You will then think, “No, I have my meal prep I made that I need to eat, so I don’t waste MONEY.”
A lot of you might not have that mindset and will get the CFA anyways, but maybe learn to have some self control?
One bad meal every once in a blue moon isn’t going to hurt you. However, I always recommend people go at least 4 weeks sticking to their diet plan without cheating and then watch your desires for unhealthy food start to lessen.

This is often just neglected. The deltoid obviously comprised of the anterior, medial and posterior. All should be worked to get that rounded shoulder look.
With that, the deltoid is still responsible for abducting the arm. Meaning, if you do partials heavy, mechanical tension will still be occurring in the deltoid. Which in turn, creates growth.
When doing partials, be sure to spread the scapulas and keep your lats locked in place. You want as much motor unit recruitment in the deltoid as possible.
The deltoids are hard enough to grow already, so we need to do it all!

These are the exercises I have been overloading for a little bit. I have been rehabbing my left shoulder, so when you see my incline is not over 100’s like it used to be… that’s why (don’t hate).
The workout is only as hard as you make it. There are lots of little cues I throw in, that I don’t show on camera. Forced reps, dropsets, partials, etc.
