When we established The AAKOMA Project, we recognized the vital role young people play in shaping their futures and communities. Team AAKOMA was born out of the belief that youth should have a direct and influential voice in the initiatives that impact their mental well-being and overall lives. 🌱💫 Through Team AAKOMA, we've created a safe and supportive space where Youth and Young Adults of Color can actively participate in decision-making processes. By engaging with them, we gain unique perspectives, fresh ideas, and an understanding of the challenges they face in today's world. 🌟💙 The importance of working together with youth cannot be overstated. Their lived experiences, resilience, and creativity enrich our efforts in raising consciousness and driving positive change.
