Ex nhs phlebo here - we were encouraged to reuse a needle if the vein wasn’t hit first time…to save money! Never did & always used a new one as a rule

What does this mean for a tattoo machine needle? Although it doesn’t puncture as deep, it still punctures the skin.

1) Im a phlebotomist & used to work in a hospital I saw so many doctors re use needles it’s actually scary always remember to advocate for yourself
