Loved this place so much. 🥹 Got a mocktail and just vibed to the music while swaying with the sea currents. Listen, we really do have it all in NYC 😭 Make a reservation on resy ahead of time or you risk not being allowed in. This is Pilot- one of a couple of boat restaurants in NYC, perfect for summer day or evening (I can’t even imagine the skyline views here at night 🙌🏽🤤) #nyc #brooklyn #brooklynpier #brooklynbridgepark #pilotbrooklyn #nycbars #nycrestaurants #dumbo
New fav NYC restaurant. This Iranian (Persian) spot just opened up last year in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Fun way to travel to Tehran through your taste buds at @eyval_brooklyn
We tried 7 plates, these were my top favs:
- the eggplant yogurt (savory yogurt dips are popular in that region of the world and I highly recommend)
- the slow cooked angus short ribs melted when you cut into them, stewed in flavors like pomegranate
- the feta spread
- sesame barbari bread
- crème puffs (sounds so basic but TRUST me they were amazing, light, fresh and tasted like roses. They pair perfectly with coffee or tea)
Thank u to @nic for the recommendation 😋

The only freshwater river in New York City! This was one of the most meaningful things I've done in NYC, having grown up in the BX. Also loved meeting cool NYC locals passionate about environmental justice at the @BronxRiverAlliance Even more touching is how much of this change (from ongoing efforts to conserve and restore the Bronx River) has been from the community + volunteer efforts via The Bronx River Alliance.
Here are some of the many things you can sign up for through @bronx_river website:
- Canoeing-guided experiences (like in the video above)
- MANY volunteering opportunities (like ongoing clean-up efforts)
- FREE events for community paddling in Starlight Park & Concrete Plant Park
- Textile+storytelling, soil testing, gardening, and more workshops
- History/environmental/cultural walking tours
- Science opportunities like monitoring oysters with the Billion Oyster Project :-o
- & many more events, check their website!
I also learned so much on this tour and got to ask a bazillion questions lmao. If you're an NYC/BX local, this is such a meaningful way to connect with the land and historic efforts in a way our schools never taught us, and it gives our community that is so eager to give back, a way to connect and get involved.
Fun fact: a pod of dolphins were seen in the Bronx River in January 2023.
And the Bronx River Park was renovated in 2020 to create bike and walking trails. #urbancanoeing #bronx #bronxriver #bronxriveralliance #kayaking #nychiddengems #bronxthingstodo #bronxtiktok #nyctiktok #bronxriverforest

This is my 3rd show @Company XIV since their xmas Nutcracker (espectacular!!) This performance is called Seven Sins. @LEXXE draws inspo from her Puerto Rican Catholic upbringing in her song writing. Amazing dance, music, and performances. The venue is GORGEOUS. And Bushwick is the PERFECT neighborhood to continue the night out after the show. I’m in love. 🥰 #brooklyn #bushwick #nychiddengems #queernyc #brooklyngems #nycnightlife #nyctheatre #capcut
#CapCut you can book a riding experience for $100 or $150 including roundtrip transportation from Reykjavík. Or you can book a private session for $190/hour. They also divide the group rides by experience: beginner, intermediate, advanced. Whichever you do, be sure to try the tolt! Riding a horse in iceland is a must do special experience! #icelandadventure #icelandtravel #ishestar
