My pup destroyed 1 pair of shoes I left out. After that, I kept them put away for 4-6 months. Now I can leave them out and he’s fine. Mgmt —> training

My trainer explained as reaction to owner going into a melt down. Very confusing and unsettling for dogs. They have no clue why

They love not giving their dogs proper toys/stimulation but get upset when the dogs find a way to stimulate its self

I walk away and calm down. my dog destroyed the only shoes I wear, so I walked away cried and then learnt to not leave them out
