Here's the second part of a joke that was too long to fit within the 90 second reel limitation on IG but the thing is this bit is meant to be viewed cohesively so this clip straight up makes no sense unless you watched part one so ultimately this post is less about showcasing quality material and more about boosting my algorithmic metrics by either a.) tricking you into going to my page to watch part one of the joke or b.) tricking you into getting upset at the content of this joke by presenting it devoid of context in the hopes that your frustration drives you to comment on the post thus lowering my self-esteem while boosting the overall algorithmic performance of the bit. This has accidentally become one of my more polarizing bits. My intention with this joke is to very casually express the common knowledge that privilege and power are inherently corrupting forces that can quickly alter the calibration of one's moral compass, but sometimes all people hear is "lol slavery." When intention and reception are at odds with each other, who's most responsible: the performer, or the lowest common denominator amongst the crowd? These are concerns I'd have to ponder were standup a legitimate art form and not just a silly thing drunk people do. Here's a joke about a time I was hungover in a food court. I have a script due on Sunday but still found time to edit this so they don't kick me out of comedy.
