My dad was a great presence in my life. The narrative of Black men not staying or not taking care of their family is false & deeply rooted in white supremacy. My father was an incredibly caring man who loved deeply and was loved deeply. He taught me many things and was a stalwart figure in my childhood.
His sudden passing was a deep shock to the family and is a wound that will never fully close.
I am not someone who asks for help easily but I created a GoFundMe in my dad’s memory to help ease the financial burden that was completely unexpected. Whatever you can do to help will be tremendously appreciated.

There is nothing that can prepare you for loss. The shock i am experiencing is painful, cruel and deep. Cancer was never something that ran in my family so it was completley unexpected. Get a Colonoscopy‼️
