Bonnie Raitt is an American blues singer and guitarist. After her self-titled debut album, she released a series of critically acclaimed roots-influenced albums that incorporated elements of blues, rock, folk, and country. Raitt has received ten competitive Grammy Awards, as well as a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. She was ranked number 50 in Rolling Stone's list of the "100 Greatest Singers of All Time", and was placed on the magazine's list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time". In 2000, Raitt was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. She has also received the Icon Award from the Billboard Women in Music Awards.
