The song "Baby You're a Drag" is by Evan Dando & Adam Roth from the "Burnzy's Last Call" soundtrack. Produced by Crispin Cioe, the soundtrack to the award winning independent film features well known artists (In addition to Evan Dando and Adam Roth: David Johansen, Deborah Harry, Graham Parker, Lou Christie, The Smithereens, and The Uptown Horns) evoking the sounds of the 60's & 70's. In fact, the musicians were so into the project that they created fictitious identities for themselves. You can listen to the full song here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbzPM3cn90Y Evan Dando is the frontman of the Lemonheads. He is also a solo artist. Adam Roth was a composer and actor, known for To Die For (1995), Burnzy's Last Call (1995) and The Refrigerator (1991). Crispin Cioe is a saxophonist, music director, and producer who has played on hundreds of albums and toured with the Rolling Stones. He has performed/recorded with James Brown (sax solo on “Living in America”), Debbie Harry (sax solo on "French Kissing in the USA"), Darlene Love, Tom Waits, Ray Charles, Robert Palmer, Bronski Beat, and the Scissor Sisters. A taste of tenor sax soloing on“Chic Cheer” with Nile Rodgers & Chic at the Mt. Fuji Jazz Festival. For the uninitiated, Chic ( pronounced SHEEK) is a disco and R&B band that was founded in 1976 by guitarist Nile Rodgers and bassist Bernard Edwards. It is known best for its commercially successful disco songs, including "Dance, Dance, Dance (Yowsah, Yowsah, Yowsah)" (1977), "Everybody Dance" (1977), "Le Freak" (1978), "I Want Your Love" (1978), "Good Times" (1979), and "My Forbidden Lover" (1979). This concert captures the band live at the 2003 Mount Fuji Festival in Japan and the band also features superstar drummer Omar Hakim. #musiciansoftiktok #fyp #saxophone @Nile Rodgers #saxophonist #saxsolo
Yep, that’s me blowing my face off on# the sax solo on "French Kissin' in the USA" by Debbie Harry from the Rockbird album, produced by Seth Justman. I heard the composition in my head and Seth went with it. It remains one of my favorite if not my favorite sax solo of my career. In the United Kingdom, the song was released as the album's lead single on and became Harry's biggest chart hit, reaching number eight on the UK Singles Chart and becoming her solo Top 10 single there. In the United States, the song climbed to number 57 on the Billboard Hot 100. Crispin performed with Debbie Harry for a live performance of "French Kissin' in the USA" and "In Love with Love" on Saturday Night Live (SNL). #debbieharry #blondie #rockbird #sethjustman #frenchkissingintheUSA #studiomusician #saxophonist #saxophone

A taste of the Uptown Horn's rendition of "(Everytime I Hear) That Mellow Saxophone" originally recorded by Roy Montrell in 1956. You can hear the full recording by the Uptown Horns at https://youtu.be/Zzg5BvJfzNA.
Original Uptown Horns saxophonist Crispin Cioe sings and plays alto sax with Arno Hecht (tenor saxophone), Paul Litteral (trumpet), and Bob Funk (trombone).
Lyrics
I wanna mambo, sambo, do my number
Hold my baby all the summer
Every time I hear that mellow saxophone
I wanna rip it, rock it, really bop it
Flip it, flop it, Davy Crockett
Every time I hear that mellow saxophone
I wanna rock, rock, rock
Roll, roll, roll
Bop, bop, bop
I wanna rip it, rock it, really bop it
Whooo, Davy Crockett
Every time I hear that mellow saxophone
I wanna rock, rock, rock
Roll, roll, roll
Bop, bop, bop
I wanna mambo, sambo, do my number
Hold my baby all the summer
Every time I hear that mellow saxophone
I wanna rip it, rock it, really bop it
Flip it, flop it, Davy Crockett
