The dollarama ones are specially made, lower grade metal and thinner blade. Still a great deal for what you get

The Dollarama knives are stamped out of a sheet and sharpened, the other one is forged. The rivets on the forged handle are integrated in the blade.

They're not even remotely the same but I'd by the dollarama one, a 30$ difference is insane and the dollarama one gets the job done for most ppl

2 star review at the bay? Probably why it sold at dollarama. Not worth that price

Depends what your using them for. It’s all about the blade quality for me and I buy/use a chef’s knife for 500.00 Worth every penny.

The Bay because it’s a forged knife and the Dollarama set is stamped, lower quality

The things from dollarama (and Walmart) are made cheaper specifically to be sold at lower prices and will fall apart quicker.
