Shaun Goh and Keane, two passionate club athletes, recently graced our club's training session with their presence. They had an exciting purpose – to enlighten the next generation about their upcoming adventure at the 2023 World Athletics Road Running Championship in Riga together with the rest of the Team Singapore members. Their enthusiasm was contagious as they shared their experiences, insights, and preparation journeys. Shaun and Keane's dedication to their sport was evident, inspiring everyone in attendance. In addition, Club Coach Nicole will be team manager for the upcoming assignment.
The kids eagerly absorbed their wisdom, learning about the challenges and excitement that await them in this prestigious event. Their visit not only heightened their anticipation for the championship but also reinforced the tight-knit community spirit that thrives within the club. We're now counting down the days until Riga 2023, all the best Shaun and Keane's stories and Team Singapore.

Coach Tan had the incredible honor of being chosen as one of the esteemed panel judges at the 29th James Cook University Convergence Conference. In this role, Coach Tan found it truly exciting to witness the bright minds of students as they presented their final year projects and research. The atmosphere at the conference buzzed with creativity and knowledge, and Coach Tan was absolutely thrilled to be a part of it.

MATCH (Tan & Lim, 2020) is designed with reference from validated international protocols and developed with a Singapore normative database.
MATCH will help coaches to identify a wide range of motor competencies from superior motor skills to motor delays or coordination challenges in children aged 3 to 6 years old.
