Some of the fascinating animals you can meet at the aquarium are Helen (pacific white-sided dolphin),🐬, Tanu and Katmai (sea otters) 🦦, and Señor Cinco, our favorite sea lion 🦭. There are over 65,000 animals for you to enjoy and learn about!
Also, starting June 17, @vanaqua is opening its doors after hours for Fish & Sips, a new adults-only social event. Guests 19+ can explore the aquarium while sipping on delicious drinks, snacking on small bites, and enjoying live entertainment… all without kids! 🤫💁

Our students had to create a scary image with two specific images just by working with Photoshop's Camera Raw Filter and other settings available in the app to get the more realistic yet spooky results possible.

#UserCentred means that we must think and create designs not based on what we like but on what the user really needs.
And to create user-centred designs, we have to learn about the #UserMentalProcesses , which refers to how people think, imagine, reason, their emotions and their memory. That way, we can know why and how they do what they do and act on that.
All of that is part of our UI/UX Design and Esthetics & Design Principles courses from our Media Design & Web Development program.

This is a shortcut for beginners that want to jump to intermediate/pro users, as it can help you keep working without stopping to make minor adjustments or distractions.
Remember:
MAC: Option + mouse Right Click + move mouse Right/Left for #size , Up/Down for #hardness
WINDOWS: Alt + mouse Right Click + move mouse Right/Left for size, Up/Down for hardness
To have the #opacity set as Up/Down, you need to change that in the #Preferences window.

Saumya is our new Media Design & Web Development graduate!
She just received her diploma after finishing her Co-op process in an interior design company called @schediospaces.Over there, she worked as a design technician, making presentations as well as drawings and models for interior designs. She was also in charge of the company’s internal marketing design.
“I used a lot of photoshop and illustrator, plus an all-new set of graphic design software, like AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.,” she told us during her campus visit.
About her Co-op experience, Saumya said she learned a lot about how to design for real-life jobs.”Nothing can be random. I had to deal with budgets, prototyping, the clients and their needs, so, yeah, it was challenging.”
