Let’s talk about how we started from Pindi. Soon we were all over Pakistan, from Lahore, Karachi and the south of Punjab to Peshawar, Mardan, Swat, Hunza, and even interior Sindh. We then ventured into the Middle East. Our quest for travel landed us in Canada in 2020; we took off instantly. In 2021 we had the chance to cover diverse South Asian cultures. It wasn't until this September that we did what we had long wished for. A white wedding! It was set in the easternmost town of Canada, St. John's. It was a delightful day tete-a-tete for me as I had craved shooting some raw getting-ready shots forever. But it was a superheated day (literally) for the locals as the temperature and humidity were beyond the regular highs. We started at the groom's house where I took photos of his mom doing her hair, and munching on a donut later. At the bride's we found her sitting inside the fridge!
