The 48hr social/match amongst some of the consultants at Stables Carp fishery is over. The second 24hr started with thunderstorms and torrential rain, which seemed to be the cue for getting a bite to Chris’ amusement opposite. James carried on his fine form having 3 takes in 30mins off the top and the bottom landing two upto 23.4. Carl finally got off the mark on the surface too followed quickly by one off his spots. Jordan was steadily amounted doubles keeping James on his toes. Me(Luke), the gaffer and Adam were struggling to pick any fish off and losing two myself this morning would see me only land one fish all weekend from a fancied peg I haven’t fished much before. The morning came and Adam was off the mark with a double take, like buses eh! Jordan and Tony also catching a few doubles and Carl nicking two more. All together 26 Carp were landed with Jims 2 A team fish and Jordan’s A team fish the pick of the bunch. It was great to meet everybody and to see everyone catching on the bait, which just seems to be going from strength to strength.
