Earlier this year, Mikesell’s Snacks announced that they would be winding down operations at their Dayton headquarters after 112 years of operation. Daniel W. Mikesell started the business in 1910 with dried beef and sausage. The iconic potato chip we know and love them for wasn’t invented until many years later, first only seasonally, and then year-round. We are so happy that Conn’s Potato Chip Co. is carrying the legacy on by continuing to manufacture these Dayton-loved chips with the original recipes.
