What a wonderful way to spend some time in the summer! Make new friends, learn new skills and make good memories! Thank you all for sending your children to Carlee Farm summer camp 2023! See you next year!
The Day The Farmer Quit was such a wonderful story where the children learned that farmers work really hard to makr all out food and are rarely gicen any thanks at almfor what they do! We chose to write thank you cards and will send to a fee of our local farmers in Granville County! #thankafarmer #thedaythefarmerquit #granvillecounty #summercamp
Old traditions… It’s been said that if you bury a bottle of bourbon a month before your wedding you are promised good weather on your wedding day. Well, I can say we have about 20 bottles of bourbon buried at different locations of buried bourbon, and ironically they forget to dig it up, or even where it was buried! We have talked about the bourbon graveyard so much over the years and have never found any. While Caleb Watkins was weed eating a couple of days ago, he found one! I don’t know if it brought the couple good luck or not, but we have some aged bourbon! It’s a great find! We told Caleb we would save it for his 21st birthday! Or, we could give it to him empty and put some flowers in it instead! Haha. FYI… I can tell you this is just a myth. Because maybe 1/2 of them actually had good weather.
