Being on stage is the most important part of my life as a musician. To see faces smiling, eyes become teary, heads bopping, and the intangible energy that vibrates from others in an experience of music…it’s what I live for. But I also know that it’s important to trust that music has these same impacts to those that I can’t be with in person. Like you! Here on tiktok! Behind the scenes! My reaction to the big reveal of my battle partner and song! I was so nervous just hoping and praying for a song that was in my ‘wheelhouse’. Anyone that has seen me perform knows I always have a handful of @Stevie Nicks in my repertoire so this was a very happy moment for me. To be this seen and heard from @gwenstefani , to genuinely enjoy the song ‘Leather and Lace’, and to have great respect for my battle partner @Jay Allen …it was a truly great ‘gig’ for us to work for and we put in a LOT of effort.
(Also, you get to hear some experimentation notes in rehearsals!)

The highlight of my weekend was meeting the very (multi!) talented Kaylee Chambers and getting to share the stage with her on a beautiful Autumn morning.
